The National Statistics Office (NSO), Sub-Regional Office (SRO), Kurnool, concluded the ‘Swachhata Pakhwada-2026’, observed from July 1 to 15, with a series of initiatives promoting cleanliness, hygiene, environmental awareness, and community participation.The campaign featured activities such as the Swachhata pledge, hygiene kit distribution, office cleaning drive, cleanliness quiz, plantation programme, student awareness sessions, and ‘Shramdaan’ (voluntary cleaning), with participation from officers, staff, students from various institution, and the local community.Assistant Director of NSO, SRO, Kurnool, Subhankar Biswas, emphasised that Swachhata Pakhwada aims to foster a lasting sense of responsibility towards cleanliness and inspire collective efforts to build a cleaner, healthier environment.
