Mainoo, one of the team's star midfielders, offered fundraiser Jordan a ticket after he issued a desperate plea for a ticket while flying from Heathrow all the way to Atlanta.‌And his incredible fundraising for Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) has seen FIFA ante-up the offer by forging a major partnership with his campaigning organisation.‌Jordan revealed in a post across social media platforms that he would be attending today's Atlanta match after Mainoo reached out following his now viral plea. Posting via his and his brother Cian's "theFTDbrothers" Instagram account, he asked viewers in a video: "I have 32 hours to fulfil a lifelong dream. Eight years ago, I was given a terminal prognosis."That means I'm going to get the same fronto temporal dementia that took my mum and 12 relatives. Since then, I've made my life as a full-time advocate.‌"I've also tried to live as freely as possible and jump at opportunities. It would be a real bucket list moment to go to England vs Argentina in Atlanta. I'm heading there now, first of two flights to get there, 13 hours travelling. Let's test the power of social media and see if I can get a ticket to the game."His plea was eventually heard by Mainoo, who reached out and set the campaigner up with tickets, and he took to social media again to confirm he was heading to the game.‌He wrote: "Massive thank you to Kobbie for showing what a humble and generous human being he is; it’s made me love this team even more. I’ll forever be grateful for this opportunity." Jordan also revealed that he will attend the match as a FIFA "special guest", and that the FTD Brothers will collaborate with the footballing organisation in a social media post to spread dementia awareness.He said: "This is a special experience with FIFA and the chance to spread dementia awareness around the world. I am on a mission before I die to make a difference and live life to the max as much as possible, and this is a bucket list moment."Article continues belowJodran and his brother Cian are two halves of the Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) Brothers, an organisation the two set up to raise awareness of the disease that killed their mum in 2016.The brothers, from Redditch in Worcestershire, have raised nearly £2 million for dementia research through tireless campaigning in their mum, Geraldine's, honour after she died at 52 from FTD. They both carry a gene that places them at high risk of developing the disease in their 40s, and could kill them in less than a decade.
