U.S. President Donald Trump issued a new ultimatum to the Islamic Republic, warning that the United States will expand its military strikes to Iran’s critical infrastructure if Tehran fails to reach an agreement with Washington by next week.

Speaking on Wednesday evening, July 15, on Fox News’ “Special Report,” Trump stated that Iranian power plants and bridges would become targets if negotiations failed.

“Next week, things are going to get really bad for them because it’s going to be the power plants, it’s going to be the bridges,” Trump said. “We will destroy all their power plants and bridges unless they return to the negotiating table.”

Without providing specific details, the U.S. president claimed that Iranian and American representatives held talks on Tuesday. He emphasized that U.S. military operations would continue “as long as I order it.”

Referring to the Islamic Republic’s military capabilities, Trump noted that Iran “still has some capacity to fight,” but claimed that “there isn’t much left of it.” He added that striking Iran’s power plants and energy facilities was reserved for the final phase of the military operation.
