Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday reiterated that Greece’s next national elections will be held at the end of the government’s four-year term, in the spring of 2027.
“I want you to be ready and on the front lines for the elections that will take place in the spring of 2027,” Mitsotakis said during a tour of northern Evia, where he visited the Istiaia Health Center.
“Thank you for the effort you will make for the New Democracy party’s third consecutive term with a majority government,” he added.
Mitsotakis highlighted the government’s efforts to upgrade the public healthcare system through investments from the European Union’s Recovery Fund, saying that “by the end of this four-year term, we will deliver the best national health system the country has ever had.”
The prime minister also referred to the devastating wildfires that swept through northern Evia in the summer of 2021.
