Representing Nigeria with immense distinction, the CIS Robotics Team, Team 23018 (CIS-Nexus), delivered a masterclass performance at the prestigious FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) International Premier Event in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Competing against 37 elite teams from 24 countries in the fierce Rumelia Division, our young tech titans overcame a demanding journey to capture international acclaim.

A Quadrupled Score: The team shattered their national record, skyrocketing from 70 points at the Nigerian qualifiers to a massive highest match score of 290 points in Istanbul.
Cutting-Edge Innovation: This incredible leap was powered by newly refined, student-developed computer vision technology that supercharged their robot’s autonomous scoring.
