PUBG MOBILE has officially launched one of its biggest crossover updates yet, bringing the legendary world of NARUTO Shippuden into the battleground in an action-packed collaboration that combines anime nostalgia, immersive gameplay, exclusive rewards, and community-driven experiences.
To celebrate the launch in Nigeria, PUBG MOBILE hosted an energetic flashmob in Ikeja, Lagos, transforming one of the city’s busiest locations into a vibrant ninja-inspired battleground. The activation brought together gamers, anime fans, shoppers, cosplayers, dancers, and content creators for a day filled with performances, cosplay showcases and interactive experiences inspired by the iconic anime franchise.
The flashmob featured Naruto cosplayers, high-energy dance crews recreating signature moves from the collaboration, and popular digital creators including Jarvis and Cloutdipson, who joined fans in celebrating the highly anticipated update. The activation created an exciting fusion of gaming, anime culture and Nigerian creator entertainment, with attendees capturing and sharing memorable moments across social media.
At the heart of the new PUBG MOBILE x NARUTO Shippuden version is a special NARUTO-themed mode that brings iconic anime elements into the PUBG MOBILE battleground. Players can explore locations inspired by the Hidden Leaf Village, including familiar landmarks, themed areas, special visual elements, lobby updates, loading screens and music connected to the NARUTO Shippuden collaboration.
