The Nigerian police have commenced the interrogation of the alleged 'fake' Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council Director-General, Adeniyi Adeyemi, following his arrest in Osun State.
In a video seen by SaharaReporters, Adeyemi was asked to state his name, but he responded defiantly, insisting that he had already provided his identity to the officers questioning him earlier.
His arrest followed a bench warrant issued by a Federal High Court in Abuja after he failed to appear for his scheduled arraignment on Tuesday.
Earlier, SaharaReporters reported that a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja ordered the arrest of the embattled self-acclaimed Director-General of the alleged Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council, Adeyemi, after he failed to appear in court for his scheduled arraignment over allegations of forgery, fraud and impersonation.
