He shared his enjoyable experience at the popular motorsport event that takes place every year in the UK. While Dan Ticktum drove the GEN4 at the festival, Marti drove another Formula E car on the hillclimb. Thanks @fiaformulae and @cupra_official for letting me have a piece of your cars.”His team, Cupra Kiro, commented from its official handle: “so much about a weekend off.”Meanwhile, his team-mate Dan Ticktum finished second in the competition at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in what was his debut run in the GEN4 car. The Shanghai E-Prix was a double-header, but the Cupra Kiro rookie failed to score any points despite his best qualifying performance of the season.He shared pictures from the Shanghai International Circuit on Instagram to sum up the experience. He wrote: “Ups and downs in Shanghai. Best pace and qualifying of the year with P6 today, but yesterday an unexpected safety car cost us all our Attack Mode, and today we got the strategy wrong. Still, a huge thank you to all the fans who made me feel right at home. Tokyo in 2 weeks—a new chance to pick up some more points. See you there!”However, the Spaniard has been performing exceptionally well in his rookie season. He has already claimed two podium finishes, one at the Monaco E-Prix and another at the Sanya E-Prix. While he finished third in Monaco, he secured second place in Sanya, China.He is currently 12th in the Formula E Drivers’ Standings with 58 points, and there are still four more races to go. Next is the Tokyo E-Prix from 24–26 July, followed by the season-ending London E-Prix in mid-August.
