25-year-old vandal, Chigozirim Elem
The Abia State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old man, Chigozirim Elem, for allegedly vandalising government property and stealing iron doors from unallocated shops at the Ubani Government Market in Umuahia.
The command Police Public Relations Officer, Maureen Chinaka, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Danladi Isa.
She identified the suspect as Chigozirim Elem of Amasiri, Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, who resides in Ugwunchara, Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State.
According to the police, four double iron doors and one single iron door were recovered from the suspect.
