MANILA, Philippines — Five individuals were arrested for allegedly robbing a Marikina City home, the Eastern Police District (EPD) said.
The perpetrators supposedly introduced themselves to the residents as police officers conducting an arrest warrant operation early Monday morning in Barangay Concepcion Dos, according to the EPD in a statement.
The suspects then allegedly cut the home’s internet connection and security cameras; and tied up the residents while they took valuable electronics, high-end timepieces, cash, and assorted gold jewelry, the police explained.
