The meeting, held in Zimbabwe on Friday, focused on strengthening collaboration between traditional leadership structures and governments in responding to migration-related challenges across the continent.
According to the King’s Office, the engagement marked an important step in advancing dialogue on issues that have become increasingly prominent in South Africa, particularly in KwaZulu-Natal, where communities have staged protests calling for stricter immigration enforcement.
During the meeting, King Misuzulu emphasised the importance of African unity, responsible migration and effective border governance.
