President Donald Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act cost the clean energy, manufacturing and industrial sector $82.8 billion through cancellations and delays in the U.S.

'Bait and Switch' Report In a report titled "Bait and Switch" by the BlueGreen Alliance, a Minneapolis-based non-profit, on Tuesday, the organization said that Trump's policies caused delays or cancellations of 223 manufacturing, clean energy and industrial projects, as well as 111,765 jobs.

The study points to Trump's rollback of policies outlined in the Inflation Reduction Act by former President Joe Biden, as well as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law aimed at improving infrastructure via EV charging points, zero-emission public transport, airports and more.

Trump's Rollbacks "At the heart of the GOP legislation is an aggressive rollback of clean energy tax credits and investments," the report said, depicting Trump's rollback of initiatives like the $7,500 EV Credit, as well as solar and clean energy credits, which were "particularly damaging," the report said.
