Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) signed the RAISE Act into law Friday, making New York the latest state to have broad safety rules for the most advanced AI models.

Hochul’s team fed all of New York’s regulations to AI.
The RAISE Act would require large AI companies to publish safety and risk protocols and disclose serious safety incidents.
