Our wedding was one of the best days of my life. Watching Holly walk down the aisle, it’s a view that I’ll never ever forget. It’s almost like I’ve got a snapshot in my brain, and the music in the church was just incredible.” The swimmer, who is set to contest his fourth Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this summer as part of the England team, said of his famous father-in-law: “Having Gordon as my father-in-law is an incredible blessing. I’m also expecting a baby little girl. Well, I’m incredibly excited. For me, that role of being a father has been just incredible. “To have another human in this world that loves and cherishes you, I think it’s the biggest blessing. My love for them isn’t going to be judged by a medal, and obviously with Holly going through pregnancy, all I can pray for is her happiness and health, as well as the baby. And for me, that does push me even more to, I guess, grow up.” Ramsay-Peaty is one of Britain’s most successful swimmers and has won six Olympic medals across four Games, including three golds.
