The Olympic swimmer is expecting a baby girl with Holly Ramsay, after the couple wed late last year.09:14, 14 Jul 2026Adam Peaty has opened up on his experience of becoming a father for the second time.‌The former Strictly Come Dancing star and Olympic gold-winning swimmer is expecting his first baby with wife Holly Ramsay.‌The couple announced their pregnancy last month, sharing: “Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming December 2026. We can't wait to meet our baby girl.”‌Adam and Holly wed in a glamorous ceremony at Bath Abbey last December, after reportedly meeting through Strictly in 2021, with Holly’s sister Tilly appearing alongside Adam.Adam, who already has a five-year-old son from a previous relationship, has now spoken about expanding their family.‌During a clip which aired on BBC Breakfast, ahead of Adam’s inclusion in the Commonwealth Games, the swimmer shared: “2026 has already been one of those years. Our wedding was one of the best days of my life.“Watching Holly walk down the aisle, it’s a view that I’ll never, ever forget. It’s almost like I’ve got a snapshot in my brain, the music and the church was just incredible.“Having Gordon as my father-in-law is an incredible blessing.”‌He went on: “I’m also expecting a baby, a little girl. While I’m incredibly excited, for me that role of being a father has been just incredible.“And to have another human in this world that loves and cherishes you, I think it’s the biggest blessing. My love for them isn’t going to be judged by a medal.‌“And with Holly going through pregnancy, all I can pray for is her happiness and health as well as the baby.
