On the night of July 14, drones attacked the Afipsky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar region and one of Russia’s largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes—Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat in Bashkortostan.

Eyewitnesses were the first to report a fire near the tank farm at the Afipsky Oil Refinery. Subsequently, the Kuban operational headquarters confirmed a fire at the facility following a drone attack.
“A fire broke out at the Afipsky Oil Refinery. The roofs, facades, windows, and fences of several private houses were damaged. Debris from the drones fell on the grounds of two facilities; in one case, a fire broke out,” the operational headquarters reported.
Also, on the morning of July 14, residents of Salavat in Bashkortostan reported explosions and a fire. According to an analysis of eyewitness video footage conducted by Astra, the facility targeted was Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat LLC. According to publicly available data, this is one of Russia’s largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes, part of the Gazprom Group.
