Proteas left-arm seamer Kwena Maphaka is looking to reset in the new international season.
Kwena Maphaka had to make a bit of a mental adjustment when he arrived at the Rajasthan Royals camp ahead of the last Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
He was no longer the youngest player in the squad, even though he had not yet reached his 20th birthday. There was a new teenage sensation in town: 15-year-old power-hitter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who went on to tear up the IPL record books by finishing as the competition’s leading run-scorer.
"Yeah, he does make me feel a bit old," Maphaka exclusively told Independent Media.
"It's really fun interacting with him and having him in the team with us. He plays like he's well beyond his years. He's a really good talent, and it was a great challenge bowling to Vaibhav in the nets.
