U.S. President Donald Trump is ready to support Russia sanctions package that was spearheaded by the late Senator Lindsey Graham.
According to an Ukrinform correspondent, CNN reported this, citing its own sources in White House.
"President Donald Trump will support the passage of a bipartisan Russia sanctions package was spearheaded by the late Sen. Lindsey Graham," the report said.
According to Senate Majority Leader John Thune, the White House has been working closely with Graham on the measure in recent weeks.
“It’ll take Democrats and Republicans here in the Senate to do that, but I’m hopeful we can make it happen,” he said.
