Jayne Kamin-Oncea / Imagn ImagesJuly 13, 2026 Updated 6:53 pm EDTLos Angeles Rams tackle Alaric Jackson is not facing criminal charges following his June arrest on suspicion of felony domestic violence, prosecutors confirmed to The Athletic on Monday.Jackson was arrested on a felony domestic battery charge on June 8 after Los Angeles police responded to a 911 call at his home. He later posted a $50,000 bond.“This matter has been assigned for a City Attorney Hearing, a pre-filing diversion available to eligible individuals that is an alternative to misdemeanor criminal prosecution,” said Ivor Rice, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. “Charges are not filed against the respondent at this time, however, the case stays open throughout the length of the statute of limitations. It can be re-evaluated if there are further developments.”
The Athletic has reached out to the Rams for comment.Jackson was sued in November 2025 by a woman who accused him of recording sexual acts with her without her consent in Los Angeles in May 2024. The lawsuit alleged that Jackson “pressured her into sexual acts” and lied that he had deleted the video and later shared it. A federal court dismissed the suit on April 10.The NFL suspended Jackson for two games in 2024 for violating its personal conduct policy, but did not provide details on why.Jackson, who turns 28 on Tuesday, signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent in May 2021. He has played in 57 games over five NFL seasons, starting 51. The Rams and Jackson agreed to a three-year, $57 million contract extension in February 2025.
