Toronto police Chief Myron Demkiw and Mayor Olivia Chow will be providing an update on the shooting near the Salsa on St. Clair street festival Saturday night that killed two men, wounded multiple people and sent thousands of festivalgoers fleeing in panic through the streets in the city’s west end.
The news conference is expected to take place at 3 p.m. at Toronto Police Headquarters and will be livestreamed on police’s YouTube page.
