The spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced on Monday, July 13, hours after U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks regarding the United States managing the Strait of Hormuz in the near future, that the Islamic Republic would “under no circumstances” allow American interference in the management of the waterway and would confront any action by Washington in this regard.

The statement issued by the headquarters’ spokesperson asserted that what it termed the United States’ “repeated adventures and malice” in managing the Strait of Hormuz had seriously jeopardized regional security, international commerce, and the passage of oil tankers and commercial vessels.

The spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters stated: “Following previous warnings, we do not and will not, under any circumstances, allow the United States to interfere in the management of the Strait of Hormuz.”

He further warned that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic would “severely confront” any “disruption or insecurity” caused by the U.S. military to the transit of commercial ships and oil tankers operating outside the routes designated by Iran or without authorization from the Islamic Republic’s armed forces.
