The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced that the Islamic Republic “will not allow any interference in the affairs of the Strait of Hormuz,” emphasizing that the only safe transit route for commercial vessels and tankers through the waterway is the one designated by Iran.

Referring to recent U.S. strikes on southern Iran, the headquarters claimed that the American military had targeted areas in the south of the country “without adhering to its commitments. ” They warned that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic would deliver a “crushing response” to these attacks.

Simultaneously, a wave of reactions from Arab nations emerged in response to the Islamic Republic’s recent strikes in the region. Bahrain’s state television announced that the country’s air defense systems had intercepted and destroyed the Islamic Republic’s incoming attacks over Bahraini airspace.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs also issued a statement condemning the Islamic Republic’s attacks on its territory “in the strongest possible terms,” calling them a blatant violation of sovereignty, a threat to Kuwait’s security and stability, and a breach of international law, the UN Charter, and UN Security Council Resolution 2817. The ministry emphasized that Kuwait’s security and sovereignty are a “red line” and that the country reserves the right to take all necessary measures to defend itself.
