Jason Aldean’s “Don’t Tell on Me,” his 50th Country Airplay entry and 27th No. 1, spends a second week atop the chart (dated July 18), rising 2% to 31.6 million audience impressions July 3-9, according to Luminate. It marks his first multiweek leader since “Trouble with a Heartbreak” ruled for three weeks in May 2022, and his 13th career No. 1 of two weeks or more.
Written by Kurt Allison, Tully Kennedy, John Morgan and Lydia Vaughan, “Don’t Tell on Me” launched at No. 21 in March, the third-highest debut of Aldean’s career. Only “Take a Little Ride,” “Burnin’ It Down,” “How Far Does a Goodbye Go” and the Carrie Underwood duet “If I Didn’t Love You” opened higher; the first three debuted at No. 19, while the lattermost started at No. 20. All five songs ultimately reached No. 1.
