Hossein-Ali Haji-Deligani, the First Vice-Chairman of Parliament’s Article 90 Commission, announced that he plans to question the Foreign Minister regarding a secret memorandum of understanding between Iran and Oman. He stated that if the agreement was signed without parliamentary oversight, it would be completely invalid. Referring to remarks by an Omani official about the deal, Haji-Deligani said the Foreign Minister must explain its contents and why it was kept hidden, emphasizing that parliament had been left entirely in the dark.

The lawmaker also addressed negotiations between Iran and the United States, insisting that the Strait of Hormuz and the nuclear program must remain on the Islamic Republic’s agenda. He claimed that Iran must continue nuclear testing and, if necessary, move toward acquiring a nuclear weapon, though he noted that the final decision on using such a weapon rests with the Supreme Leader.

Furthermore, Haji-Deligani stated that he wanted the extradition of Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump to be included in the negotiations. He argued that Iran should have warned Turkey before Trump’s visit that he would be targeted if he entered the country. He concluded by claiming that Trump is not safe even inside the White House, asserting that individuals would be found to carry out what he called the decree of God.
