MLA Kuna Ravi Kumar alleged that a worker from the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) was being forced to take the blame for the accident that caused the death of shepherd Danayya in order to protect former Minister Seediri Appalaraju’s son, who was driving a bike negligently.In a video statement on Monday (July 13, 2026), Mr. Ravi Kumar stated that the road accident in Srikakulam district was yet another proof of the YSRCP’s criminal mindset, characterised by committing atrocities and murders and tampering with evidence, similar to what occurred in the case of Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy’s murder, which was portrayed as a heart attack.He alleged that, on the instructions of Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy, attempts were being made to shield the former Minister’s son. The CCTV footage from the surrounding areas of the accident site clearly showed Mr. Appalaraju’s son driving the bike, he added, demanding action against the real culprit.
