Arab countries across the region have condemned the Islamic Republic’s strikes conducted early this morning. Official government representatives underscored the urgent need to secure the Strait of Hormuz, prevent the wider escalation of hostilities, and return to diplomatic channels.

Oman: The Sultanate of Oman condemned a drone strike targeting its Musandam Governorate. Oman’s official news agency, citing a security source, confirmed that areas within the province were struck. The Omani government expressed its deep condemnation and announced that all necessary measures had been enacted to safeguard the country and its citizens.

Notably, this attack occurred just hours after Islamic Republic Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi traveled to Muscat to meet with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi to discuss legal and technical mechanisms for managing maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.

Lebanon: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam condemned the Islamic Republic’s strikes, declaring Lebanon’s full solidarity with the targeted nations. This stance comes amid months of rising tensions between the Lebanese government and the Islamic Republic regarding Hezbollah’s role and Tehran’s influence in Lebanon.
