Jennifer Lopez was one of dozens of celebrities to grace Wimbledon over the weekend, but fans couldn't help but be frustrated over one item of clothing she chose to wear13:33, 13 Jul 2026Jennifer Lopez enjoyed watching the men's singles final at Wimbledon, but has been slammed for one item of clothing she wore at the event. The American singer, songwriter and actress attended the finals match between Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev on Sunday, July 12, among many other celebrities and members of the Royal family.‌Jannik Sinner defeated Alexander Zverev in four sets to retain his Wimbledon title and put his French Open frustration behind him to reign supreme at the All England Club despite losing the first set to the newly crowned champion at Roland Garros.‌But as Lopez watched on, it appeared that her fans were furious that she had chosen to wear one item of clothing to the match. Pictures surfaced of Lopez looking beautifully elegant in a sophisticated sleeveless midi wrap dress in a lightweight, flowing fabric in a shade of beige and cream.‌She finished the outfit with a Ralph Lauren Collection RL 888 bag, a Cartiet Tortute watch with a tonneau-shaped face and some strappy sandal-like heels. The part of the outfit that faced criticism, however, was a huge woven sunhat that help her head, face and entire top of her shoulders covered in shade.‌The main issue people had with the accessory was that it appeared to block the view for some of the spectators sat behind her.One person said: "That hat is ridiculous."A second said: "Why would anyone wear a hat like this to a match."‌A third added: "I will only accept critiques that address possible view-blocking for the folks behind her. Otherwise, the hat is perfect, she looks awesome."A fourth added: "@JLo this type of hat is inappropriate for such events! You should do your homework lady!"What other celebrities were at the Wimbledon men's singles match?Princess Kate Middleton and Prince William made their usual annual appearances wearing huge smiles. Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined them and they were all seen smiling , laughing and having a good time.‌Prince Louis has yet to make his Wimbledon debut, but George and Charlotte have now attended the tournament alongside their parents many times.Together the family arrived to watch Jannik Sinner’s match with Alexander Zverev on Centre Court, but were greeted by a line-up of guests before they took their seats in the royal box.During their introductions, British Wimbledon semi-finalist Arthur Fery invited George and Charlotte to play tennis with him as William and Kate congratulated the tennis player on his run to the semi-finals and wished him a happy birthday, as he celebrated turning 24 yesterday.Article continues belowJennifer Lopez was sat next to Tom Hiddleston and behind Andrew Garfield, while elsewhere in attendance were Anna Wintour Nicole Kidman, seated next to Rami Malek as well as other stars Mel B, Cynthia Erivo, Dustin Hoffman, Ben Stiller, Liam Hemsworth and Lily Collins.
