After days of heartbreak, missing teenager Khanya Thandolwethu Khundla is found alive and reunited with her family.
After days of fear and uncertainty, the family of 16-year-old Khanya Thandolwethu Khundla is breathing a sigh of relief after the teenager was found safe on Friday, 10 July.
Khanya's disappearance prompted widespread concern after she was reported missing while travelling from Mthatha to Durban, with her family making emotional public appeals for information that could help bring her home.
Speaking after her safe return, Khanya's father said the family was overwhelmed with relief but revealed that the teenager is still coming to terms with her ordeal.
"We are so happy that she has been found. She is with me right now. However, she is still experiencing trauma," he told IOL.
