What began as an ordinary winter morning has turned into every parent's nightmare, with loved ones caught in an agonising cycle of hope and heartbreak as they wait for news that she is safe.
Khanya was last seen on July 2 when she boarded public transport in Mthatha, bound for Durban. She has not been heard from since. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black tights, a black jacket and a navy sun hat.
As the search intensifies, her family hope that someone, somewhere, recognises her face, remembers seeing her or holds the crucial piece of information that could bring her home.
