Detective Kit is convinced her ex Gary Windass is to blame and that Sarah has been covering for him.‌So when Sarah admits Gary is innocent and she's the real killer, the detective is left reeling. He's not realised the killer has been under his nose the whole time, but does this spell the end of Sarah, and will Kit send her to prison?Monday's episode sees the moment Kit plans a proposal, only for Sarah to drop her killer bombshell. As Kit takes in the news, Sarah wonders if she's done the right thing.‌The episode, now available on ITVX and airing on ITV1 on Monday evening, sees Kit's reaction to the news, and the fact that Sarah called Gary in her time of need over him. Of course Sarah didn't want to cost police officer Kit his job, but will he see it that way?It's safe to say this is a turning point, and Sarah's fate rests with Kit. Will he do the right thing for his career and turn her in, or will he be swayed to save the woman that he loves?The end of Monday's episode certainly hints it could be game over for Sarah. That said, spoilers tease that in upcoming episodes, as detectives think they have rumbled the killer, Kit could tamper with evidence.‌As he advises Sarah on her next move, hinting he won't grass her up, spoilers suggest he could throw Gary under the bus. Then again he could be double bluffing, with actress Tina hinting at a prison stint for Sarah.She said: "I would be very worried for her. She might appear to be a 'soft touch' to hard criminals and I worry she’d get into problems in there, especially if they found out she had a partner who was a police officer."‌Whether she's leaving the show remains to be seen. If she goes to prison there is every chance Sarah will bow out after over three decades in Weatherfield. Then again this is soap, and no exit has been confirmed.Addressing a possible exit, Tina said: "I genuinely didn't worry, at the end of the day this job is incredible, but to be an actor is not necessarily a job for life.
