The second edition of the QEDNG Creative Powerhouse Summit will be held on August 11 in Lagos, with stakeholders set to explore strategies for shaping the future of Nigeria’s creative economy through innovation, investment and policy engagement.
The theme of this year’s summit is “Creativity, Culture and Nigeria’s Next Chapter.” Organised by Mighty Media Plus, publishers of the online newspaper QEDNG, the summit will bring together leaders from the creative, business and policy sectors to discuss ways of strengthening the country’s creative ecosystem.
Speaking with our correspondent ahead of the event, the convener, Olumide Iyanda, said the summit was conceived as a platform that goes beyond dialogue to deliver practical outcomes for the industry.
“This summit is designed as a meeting point for ideas, influence, and execution. It is not just about conversations but about outcomes that strengthen the creative economy,” Iyanda said.
He noted that the event comes at a time when Nigeria’s creative industry is gaining greater global recognition but still requires stronger institutional support. “Nigeria’s creative sector has grown in visibility, but the structures that support it are still evolving.
