Dzhankoi and the Dzhankoi district of the temporarily occupied Crimea have been without electricity for seven days.
According to Ukrinform, the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, Refat Chubarov, reported this on Facebook.
According to Chubarov, “for many residents of rural areas, delivered drinking water has become practically inaccessible due to exorbitant prices caused by the equally exorbitant cost of fuel. Moreover, there is a catastrophic shortage of fuel itself.”
Chubarov noted that a similar situation is being observed in other steppe regions of occupied Crimea.
“We sincerely sympathize with all residents of Crimea who are awaiting the liberation of the peninsula from the Russian barbarians and are forced to endure new hardships caused by the Russian occupation. We thank them for not losing hope and remaining loyal to Ukraine despite all the difficulties and repression,” Chubarov said.
