Joint Stock Company Ukrainian Defense Industry (Ukroboronprom) has dismissed the heads of two state-owned enterprises after investigators found violations of legal requirements and ammunition storage safety regulations.
According to Ukrinform, the company announced the decision on Facebook.
Ukroboronprom stated that it upholds the principle of the inevitability of accountability.
Based on the preliminary investigation, the directors of two state-owned enterprises where violations of legislation and ammunition storage safety rules were identified have been removed from their positions.
Other officials whose actions or negligence may have contributed to the serious consequences have also been dismissed.
