MANILA, Philippines — The portion of Diokno Boulevard in front of the Senate Main Gate in Pasay City will be reopened to all vehicles on Monday, Senate Secretary Renato Bantug announced on Sunday.
That part of the road was briefly closed to ensure security during the first week of Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial, which began on July 6.
“The temporary road closure along Diokno Boulevard, particularly the northbound and southbound lanes between Seaside Boulevard and Atang dela Rama Street, shall be reopened to all vehicular traffic effective tomorrow, Monday, 13 July 2026,” Bantug said in a statement.
