Police released CCTV images showing Tshuma at the airport leaving the UK after the murders.

The Organised Crime Unit of the South African Police Service is looking into how Interpol fugitive Ndodana Tshuma may have entered South Africa before his arrest in Kensington, Johannesburg.

Tshuma, a 45-year-old Zimbabwean, is accused of killing his wife and two children. Their bodies were found at their home in Bedfordshire, England, just over a week ago.

Initially, UK authorities believed Tshuma had fled to Zimbabwe. South African Police are now tracing his movements since his arrival in South Africa. They are collaborating with Interpol to establish his travel route, identify where he stayed while evading arrest, and determine if he received assistance after entering the country.

SAPS spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe stated that investigators have confirmed that Tshuma stayed with family members but did not disclose who provided the tip that led to his arrest. She added that police are reviewing his journey from London to determine if he travelled through Zimbabwe before arriving in South Africa. Mathe confirmed that, according to current information, he entered the country on 5 July.
