RIYADH: Heritage museums at the Farmers’ Market Festival in Turaif drew strong interest from visitors and heritage enthusiasts, showcasing collectibles that documented ancient lifestyles, handicrafts, and traditional clothing.
The displays featured antiquities, currencies, heritage photographs, jewelry, ceramics, and traditional tools, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.
The museums highlighted local artisanal skills and introduced younger generations to the region’s history and cultural heritage, enriching the festival experience.
The traditional spindle corner also attracted visitors, displaying heritage crafts linked to local culture and reflecting skills passed down through generations.
Visitors explored how the spindle was used to spin wool into thread for handmade products, while artisans explained traditional spinning techniques and processes, helping preserve and promote heritage crafts.
