Fresh pressure is mounting on the Federal Government to replicate the intelligence-led operation that secured the release of abducted pupils and teachers in Oyo State, with northern leaders and victims’ families demanding similar action in Borno, Kaduna, Kwara and other troubled states.
Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress has completed the upload of its presidential and National Assembly candidates to INEC’s portal, confirming President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima as its 2027 ticket.
The Presidency has also explained why Shettima was retained, while First Lady Oluremi Tinubu urged top entertainers, including Davido, Burna Boy and Asake, to establish charitable foundations for the poor.
