Illegal dumping outside Chatsworth Secondary School.
In a shocking display of neglect, the principal of Chatsworth Secondary, Alvin Reddy, has taken to social media to expose the deplorable state of his school’s surroundings.
This week, Reddy shared a video showcasing heaps of refuse accumulated along the school's boundary wall, sparking outrage and a desperate call for intervention from the eThekwini Municipality.
"Good morning. I am the principal of Chatsworth Secondary. This is the condition of my school outside the walls," said Reddy, in the video.
"No provision has been made for people to dispose of their dirt, so therefore they choose the wall, the area outside the school as a dumping ground to dump their litter," said the principal.
