Illegal dumping outside Chatsworth Secondary School
"Good morning. I am the principal of Chatsworth Secondary. This is the condition of my school outside the walls," said Alvin Reddy, in a video he posted on social media this week.
The video showed meters of refuse piled along the school's boundary wall.
"No provision has been made for people to dispose of their dirt, so therefore they choose the wall, the area outside the school as a dumping ground to dump their litter," said the principal.
"And I guess nobody has the power to actually clean this up because if you don't give people the infrastructure, what are you expecting them to do? So therefore my school looks like a dumpsite because the municipality has failed us," he said.
