The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) released the breakdown as part of its final preparations to ensure transparency ahead of the highly anticipated national polls.
No less than 82,213 lawyers are eligible to elect the next Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) President in an election billed to hold on July 18, 2026.
According to an email to NBA members seen by City Lawyer, the voters are spread across 139 NBA branches.
Meanwhile, the electoral committee has listed 671 “Legal Practitioners Who Paid Practising Fees Before the Deadline But Without Any Indication of Belonging to Any Branch.”
