The Apia Yacht Club has elected a new executive committee, with Aloma Seiuli Black taking over as Commodore for the 2026–2027 term.
Members gathered at the club's Mulinu'u clubhouse for the annual general meeting, where they reviewed the past year's activities and elected a new leadership team.
Black said the club was looking ahead to an exciting period focused on growing participation in sailing and water sports across Samoa.
"We are entering an incredible period for the club, filled with enthusiasm and a shared love for the ocean," she said.
She said the committee's priorities include encouraging more young people to take up sailing, expanding training opportunities and organising events that bring families and the wider community together.
