Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to data-driven development, saying accurate population statistics will guide planning and improve the delivery of healthcare, education, employment and other essential services across the state.
This was contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Mohammad, made available to newsmen on Saturday to commemorate the 2026 World Population Day.
He said the governor described population growth as both a challenge and an opportunity that requires deliberate planning and strategic investment.
Radda said his administration is determined to transform the state’s growing youthful population into a productive workforce through targeted policies and investments.
