Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrskyi has called on members of the Coalition of the Willing to provide Ukraine with more air defense systems, particularly anti-ballistic missile capabilities, as well as additional weapons to reduce Russia's military and economic potential.

According to Ukrinform, Syrskyi announced this on Facebook.

The Commander-in-Chief participated online in a conference of the Chiefs of Defense of the Coalition of the Willing member states.

"The Russian invaders are ignoring calls for peace and instead continue to escalate by increasing the intensity of their massive combined strikes against Ukraine. Civilians, our economy, and critical infrastructure are suffering. In this regard, I appealed to my colleagues in the Coalition to provide more air defense assets, especially anti-ballistic systems, as well as additional strike capabilities to reduce the military and economic potential of the aggressor state," Syrskyi said.

In this context, he also stressed the importance of further coordinated efforts to counter Russia's shadow fleet, which remains one of Moscow's key tools for circumventing sanctions and generating revenue to finance its war.
