Today is the day. The 2026 MLB Draft is here for the Colorado Rockies.The draft will start at 1 p.m. ET and can be found on NBC and Peacock.The Rockies enter the draft holding the No. 10 overall selection along with five picks during Day 1 which will take us through Round No. 4. Colorado also has one of the larger bonus pools across the league, so they should have a lot of flexibility to get some great high-end talent to fill up the depth charts.This will be an important draft for Colorado as they have several prospects near ready to join or have already joined the MLB team. With prospects like Ethan Holliday, Cole Carrigg, Chase Dollander, and Charlie Condon, the Rockies are continuing to rebuild this team.The MLB Pipeline has the Rockies farm system ranked at No. 27. His 2026 campaign propelled him to the 10th pick in the MLB Draft, hitting .343 at the dish with nine home runs and 29 RBIs in 143 at-bats. As a sophomore, Bell did tear the labrum in his left (non-throwing) shoulder, but bounced back to his production and even exceeded it. So long as development works in the Rockies' favor, Bell could be a big piece of the middle infield for years to come. Competitive Balance Round A, Pick No. 37: Daniel Jackson, C, GeorgiaWith the 37th pick of the draft, the Rockies select college baseball’s most decorated player of 2026. Golden Spikes winner Daniel Jackson will be joining the organization after a 2026 season in which he won the Golden Spikes, Dick Howser and Buster Posey Awards. Jackson, a catcher, is a do-it-all prospect with incredible raw power. He hit 32 home runs and swiped 26 bags, helping lead Georgia to an SEC title and a College World Series appearance. His 60-grade power is something to watch, especially paired with the hitter’s park that is Coors Field. The consensus first-team All-American has all the tools to be a great offensive and defensive catcher in the bigs and showed massive improvement between his junior and senior years at UGA. The Rockies got a steal here; he was graded as the No. 28 prospect by MLB.com and fell to Colorado at 37.Round 2, Pick No. 38: Logan Reddemann, P, UCLAWith the first pick of the second round, the Rockies grab Logan Reddeman, a flamethrowing pitcher from the Big Ten champions, UCLA. Reddemann made 10 starts in 2026; he finished the year with a 2.87 ERA, 84 strikeouts over 59.2 innings pitched and an 8-0 record. Reddemann’s fastball sits in the upper 90s with the ability to touch 99. The 21-year-old was named first team All-Big Ten, a second team NCBWA All-American and was a two-time WCC first-teamer at San Diego. It’s no secret that the Rockies desperately need pitching, and having Reddemann fall to the second round is just what Colorado’s front office needed. The No. 31 prospect according to MLB will join the organization and should become a key piece in the expected overhaul of the pitching staff. Round 3, Pick No. 76: Jack Natili, C, CincinnatiCincinnati infielder Quinton Coats (25) celebrates with Cincinnati catcher Jack Natili (7) | USA TODAY Network via Reuters ConnectThe Rockies, interestingly, grab their second catcher of the 2026 Draft with their fourth pick. Jack Natili is coming off a monster season at Cincy, one in which he hit .339 with 19 home runs, 15 doubles and 50 RBI in 60 games. His OPS was over 1.000 in both seasons as a Bearcat after transferring from Rutgers. On the defensive side, Natili’s arm is his greatest strength. He threw out 14 runners on 35 stolen base attempts in 2026 on his way to his second consecutive All-Big 12 second team appearance. Natili has a big frame, hit for power in college and has a cannon for an arm, but it is interesting that Colorado took their third position player in a round that many thought they would target pitchers.Round 4, Pick No. 104: Ben Davis, P, Mississippi StateBen Davis, a Mississippi State reliever, is the first pick of the fourth round and will be headed to Denver. He was the Bulldogs’ most trusted man out of the pen over the last two years, leading the team in appearances in 2025 and 2026. Davis, over 49 collegiate appearances, posted a 3.71 ERA and 118 K/38 BB in 104.1 innings pitched. Davis has a lively fastball that runs arm-side ranges and ranges the mid-to-high 90s. He pairs that with a cutter and slider that run away from righties. That electric stuff and SEC success is what led the Rockies to select Davis in the fourth.
