Norfolk property owners Phil and Gil were left in tears of joy on payment day after their Four in a Bed competitors called their stay 'perfection'.15:00, 11 Jul 2026A Four in a Bed contestant was moved to tears on payment day following an emotional confession.During a repeat episode broadcast on Saturday (July 11), Norfolk property owners Phil and Gil received feedback from their rivals after a stay at Old Hall Country Breaks.The couple's self-catered retreat had already been described as "stunning" and "amazing" by their fellow competitors."It's like I'm visiting the King," fellow Four in a Bed star Jack had praised, while the others were equally bowled over by the facilities on offer."I could live here," guest Justin also added, with all the competing teams heaping praise on Phil and Gil's establishment, reports Cambridgeshire Live."I'm a bit speechless," Gil had said, upon reading the glowing feedback, while Phil remarked: "It's a competition that we came to win and it's all about the money that goes into the envelope."On payment day, the compliments kept on coming, as Jack said: "From the moment I opened the door, I felt the level of detail."He went on to say: "With your attention to detail and you guys knowing what I want before I know I want it, it was one of the best stays ever."Justin's partner Keighly also declared it "perfection", prompting Gil to wipe away tears.He said: "You guys have really got me going now, that means everything. I'm a perfectionist, and it's not always easy.
