Tshepiso 'Musical Rose' Buthelezi faces legal repercussions after a Johannesburg High Court ordered her to retract a defamatory Facebook post against fellow DJ Tshepo Junior Makgopa.
A Jozi FM DJ who was ordered by the Gauteng High Court, Johannesburg, to remove a defamatory and unlawful posting on Facebook said she is “weighing up her options” in the wake of her allegations of assault and bullying.
Tshepiso ‘Musical Rose’ Buthelezi made the allegations against Tshepo Junior Makgopa - a radio mix DJ on Jozi FM.
In the social media posts, which have since been removed, Buthelezi alleged that Makgopa influenced event organisers to remove her from DJ line-ups at which he was also scheduled to appear.
In the same post, she alleged that Makgopa had previously assaulted her, but the case was “thrown out because the judge said there was not enough evidence”.
