MANILA, Philippines – State-run Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has tapped another South Korean utility firm to help build New Clark City’s power infrastructure as it prepares for more investments under the Luzon Economic Corridor.

Under a memorandum of understanding signed on July 8, BCDA and state-owned Korea Electric Power Corp. (Kepco) agreed to jointly study, design and develop smart energy systems for the emerging metropolis.

The partnership will initially cover technical and commercial feasibility studies and data sharing before the parties move to detailed project agreements.FEATURED STORIES
