VP camp’s request to bring own equipment, caterer not unusual – Bantug

MANILA, Philippines – Vice President Sara Duterte’s camp inquired about bringing its own equipment and hiring its own caterer for its holding area during the impeachment trial, a request that’s not unusual, Senate Secretary Renato Bantug said on Friday.

Bantug said even the prosecution team contracted their own caterer and brought in their own equipment.

“In the previous impeachment trial, I also coordinated with both panels and they also brought in some equipment,” he added in a message sent to the Inquirer.
