MANILA, Philippines — A total of 178 accredited motorcycle and car dealers have been summoned by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) from January to June this year over multiple violations.

“This was implemented following complaints the LTO received from owners that they were not able to receive on time their OR [original receipt], CR [certificate of registration] and plates which hindered them from legally using their new vehicles,” the LTO said in a statement
