The deadline for filing annual tax returns has been extended by six days, the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has announced.
The new deadline is July 21, instead of July 15, following a request from the Economic Chamber of Greece, which cited technical difficulties and delays in the tax return submission system.
AADE said that more than 313,000 legal entities had submitted their tax returns so far, compared with 338,000 by the same point last year.
More than 6.4 million individual tax returns have also been filed, slightly below last year’s figure of 6.5 million.
